How
spraying can help you save your money
A crop eaten by pest was money you deserved.
Pests not only destroy crop/ orchard but it
also wastes efforts, time and money. Crop destruction
is a Nation's loss. Well protected crop/orchard
will provide good return and a better quality
of produce.
Why should we let the pest eat our profit? With
timely spraying, you can keep your farm, crop
and orchard healthy and pest and disease free.
How to identify the pest problem
For effective control identify the problem and
then take action. Take a sample of the infected
leaf or plant before you contact a pesticide
dealer, Agriculture University, Agriculture
Department or an experts of your area. The requirement
of insecticide, weedicide and herbicide is different
for different crops, flowers or fruits. Correct
identification of insect or type of weed is
necessary before the start of treatment.
How spraying can protect your environment
Apply low doses of pesticide (as directed) ...if
applied correctly...it will prevent your crop
being damaged from insects, plant disease and
weeds. Excessive and repetitive use will damage
the environment.
Spraying Techniques
With our sprayer you mix the pesticide exactly
according to directions as given on the label
of the pesticide.
• Most of the nozzles of the sprayer are
adjustable...it can spray from a long jet to
reach high into crops, shrubs, bushes and trees,
to a gentle mist that covers a plant for thorough
protection.
• Check all the joints for leakage. If
required tighten them up.
• Powder or wettables formulations should
be dissolved first in small quantity of water.
After the powder is dissolved add the recommended
level of water. By doing this it will prevent
undissolved particles from clogging the nozzle
or the ball valve of the sprayer.
• In case of nozzle blockage, open the
nozzle cap and clean the nozzle with air pressure,
toothpick or broom straw. DO
NOT BLOW AIR FROM YOUR MOUTH. Use cycle
pump or a soft instrument to dislodge the blocked
particle. Do not use a metal wire or pointed
tool as they can damage the nozzle opening.
• Turn on and cut off the sprayer according
to its need. Do not waste insecticide on places
where it is not required. This means you can
apply a little spray to a plant that needs it,
but turn it off before it hits a nearby plant
that needs no spray.
• Spray liquid in a sprayer covers a large
area when the nozzle is adjusted to Mist. Our
sprayer nozzle correctly applies these minimal
amounts.
• Apply spray right on effected area....even
under leaves where most pest problems reside.
There may be no need to spray an entire plant
or garden if there is just a single trouble
spot.
• Since our sprayer you use only very
minimal amounts of spray material, you will
save on the cost of pesticides, as well as help
protect the environment.
